After long absence, and an examination of our goals with this site, we have decided to move in a different direction. In short, Quite Contrarian will no longer be updated. The reasons for this are many, but the main one is a general lack of focus. The site shot off in too many directions at once, and it was tough to know what it was all about.

We learned a great deal from the experience, and our new ventures will be more tightly focused and coherent. There are three of them at present, which we hope you will all visit and enjoy:

  • Renewable Wealth - Focusing in Green investing and other more enlightened investments, along with commentary about more sustainable ways of doing business.
  • The Million-Dollar Dime - Focusing on building wealth from nothing, with an emphasis on passive income and personal finance.
  • Ticker Tease - Exposing the truth about investment marketing methods and scams, including pump-and-dumps, newsletter snake-oil, and other shady business in the investment world. You’ll find our popular “short the spammers” series continued here as well.

To our long-time readers: thank you. This is not farewell, this is just a slight shift of venue. Come join us at our new sites and say hello.
